Elena Tangocci

Elena Tangocci, M.Ed., is a Scientific Associate at the Chair of Teaching and Learning with Digital Media within the TUM School of Education at the Technical University of Munich since September 2018. Her work focuses on integrating digital technologies into vocational training to support learners with disabilities.

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Psychology (September 2011 - September 2016) at Erding University of Applied Management
  • Master's degree in "Research on Teaching and Learning" (M.Ed.) (October 2016 - August 2018) at Technical University of Munich, graduated with distinction

Her research interests include self-regulated learning, emotion regulation, and the application of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to address learning disabilities. She is actively involved in the BMBF-funded project Be-IT-Ink (2018-2020), which develops AR/VR-based training solutions for vocational education inclusion.

Scientific awards and recognitions:

• 2019: Award for the BMBF project 'Vocational Immersive Training for Inclusion' in the 'Germany - Land of Ideas' competition
• 2018: Admission to the TUM Young Academy

She has presented her work at international conferences including the Society for Empirical Educational Research (digiGEBF) and EARLI Conference for Research on Learning and Instruction.
