Elena Pavelescu

Elena Pavelescu serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of South Alabama, Mobile, AL, where she maintains an active research and teaching profile.

She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 under the supervision of John Etnyre, establishing her academic foundation in geometric and combinatorial mathematics.

Her research centers on spatial graph theory, with significant contributions to combinatorial topology and structural graph theory.
