Elena Nediakina

Elena Nediakina holds a PhD and currently teaches Russian as a native speaker at the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (since 2003) and serves as a contract lecturer at the Faculty of Interpreting and Translation of the International University of Rome (UNINT) since 2012. Previously, she taught at the University of Krasnoyarsk, University of L'Aquila (1998–2003), University of Bologna (Forlì campus, 1999–2007), and the FAO in Rome (2010–2011).

Her education includes studies in Slavic languages and linguistics at St. Petersburg State University (Russian Federation) and King Charles IV University in Prague. She specializes in language analysis from diachronic/synchronic perspectives, comparative grammar, and foreign language pedagogy. Research focuses on particles in Russian/Czech, idioms in Russian/Italian, and teaching Russian to Italian learners.
