Elena Katok

Dr. Elena Katok is the Ashbel Smith Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas' Jindal School of Management. She co-directs the Center for Behavioral Operations and Economics and holds a Global Faculty position at the University of Cologne.

Her research focuses on behavioral operations management and strategic procurement design. She received the prestigious Franz Edelman Award in 2000 for achievements in operations research.

Teaching expertise includes supply chain coordination, inventory management, and production planning.
