Dr. Elena Hristova is a Lecturer in Film and Media and Director of Student Engagement at Bangor University's School of Arts, Culture, and Language. Her research focuses on media history, critical whiteness studies, gender studies, and social movements, with a current project exploring graffiti as political communication in postcolonial North Wales (funded by Taith). She holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and degrees from the University of Sussex.
