Dr. Elena Capraroiu is a Professor in the Department of Modern Languages at the University of La Verne's College of Arts and Sciences, with additional affiliations in Spanish and Gender and Sexuality Studies. She holds a PhD in Hispanic Languages and Literature from UCLA, an MA in Spanish from San Francisco State University, and a BA in English & Spanish Philology from the University of Bucharest.
Her research focuses on Hispanic linguistics, Spanish literature, and gender/sexuality studies within cultural contexts.
