She teaches modules on Portuguese-speaking world cultures, critical theory, and postcolonialism.
Dr. Jones holds a PhD from the University of Manchester (2016) and has held academic roles at Manchester, Sheffield, and Birmingham universities before joining Southampton in 2016. Her recent research collaborations with Dr. Vivienne Orchard explore institutional disability marginalization, while her publications address topics such as neurodiversity, colonial medical practices, and postcolonial African political cultures.
