Dr. Elanor Hinton is a Senior Research Fellow at the Bristol Medical School (University of Bristol), specializing in nutrition science, obesity research, and behavioral interventions. She holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge (Cantab.).
Her research focuses on neurobiological and psychological mechanisms underlying eating behavior, with particular attention to obesity-related conditions such as craniopharyngioma and type 1 diabetes. Key areas include mindfulness-based interventions, physical activity effects on appetite, and the development of clinical tools like the Momentary Appetite Capture (MAC).
