Elana Segal specializes in woodwind pedagogy at Rider University's Westminster Conservatory, teaching flute, clarinet, and saxophone. Her approach emphasizes student-centered learning with focus on fundamentals and performance skills.
With over a decade of teaching experience, she develops customized curricula incorporating scales, repertoire, music theory, and popular music. Segal maintains an active performance career in orchestras and chamber ensembles while serving as music librarian for the Old Bridge Symphonic Band.
She holds a Master of Music in Multiple Woodwind Performance from New Jersey City University and Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Rutgers University.
