Elana Levine is a Professor in the Department of English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), affiliated with the College of Letters & Science. She specializes in media, cinema, and digital studies, with a focus on television history, gender studies, and media industries. Her research explores daytime soap operas, media convergence, and feminist media criticism. Levine holds a PhD in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
