Dr. Elaine Kinsella is an Associate Professor at the University of Limerick, affiliated with the Department of Psychology, the Centre for Social Issues Research, and the Health Research Institute. Her research focuses on social influences on health and empowerment, particularly in workplace, organizational, and community contexts. She leads projects like the CV19 Heroes initiative tracking frontline workers' psychological welfare during the pandemic, and explores heroism's role in mental health and social adjustment.
