Prof. Dr. Ekin UĞURLU is a Professor of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science, Çankaya University, Turkey. She holds a PhD in Mathematics from Ankara University (2014) and has been actively involved in academic roles since 2015, progressing through positions such as Research Assistant, Lecturer, and Associate Professor before becoming a full Professor in 2023. Her research focuses on fractional differential equations, Hamiltonian systems, spectral theory, and boundary value problems. She has led numerous projects, including studies on fractional operators and Sturm-Liouville systems.
Her key contributions include groundbreaking work on dissipative operators, fractional calculus applications, and spectral analysis of differential systems. Notable achievements include the TÜBA-GEBİP 2023 Award for Outstanding Young Scientists. UĞURLU has supervised at least one master’s student (Atilla Aras) and has published extensively, with over 80 peer-reviewed articles. Her work appears in high-impact journals like Chaos, Solitons & Fractals and the Turkish Journal of Mathematics.
Collaborations with researchers like Kenan Taş and Dumitru Baleanu highlight her interdisciplinary approach. Her teaching spans calculus, differential equations, and applied mathematics, reflecting her commitment to both research and education.
