Dr. Ekaterini Mitsiou is a Lecturer at the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies, University of Vienna. Specializing in late Byzantine history (12th-15th centuries), her research spans intellectual networks, canon law, monastic space, and mobility patterns in the Eastern Mediterranean.
