معرفی
Ejona Rusha is a Researcher at the Core Facility Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells at Helmholtz Munich, Germany. She has over a decade of expertise in human pluripotent stem cell (hPSC) research, specializing in cellular reprogramming, CRISPR Cas targeting, 2D/3D differentiation, organoid technology, and GMP process development for regenerative medicine applications.
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biology/Neuroscience from Jacobs University Bremen (2009–2012)
Her work focuses on enabling robust and reproducible disease modeling using induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) to accelerate drug development and bench-to-bedside translation. She leads training programs for young scientists in stem cell maintenance, quality assessment, and differentiation techniques.
As Head of the Core Facility since 2021, she collaborates with major EU academic institutions and provides specialized services such as proof-of-concept experiments for hPSC-based models. Her career spans roles like Prototyping Lead for the iPStemRNA Project (2017–present) and Prototyping Advisor for β Cell Manufacturing in the ISLET Project (2020).
