Eitsa Deliverska

Assoc. Prof. Eitsa Deliverska, MD, is a faculty member at the Medical University Sofia (MU-Sofia), serving as Vice Rector for Postgraduate Studies. She holds an Associate Professor position in the Department of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Faculty of Dental Medicine. Her academic journey includes roles as a specialist, assistant, senior assistant, and chief assistant from 2003 to 2014, followed by her tenure as an Associate Professor until 2020.

Her education encompasses a Master of Dental Medicine (2003), specialty in maxillofacial surgery (2008), oral surgery (2012), and dental implantology (2019). She also completed pedagogical training in health personnel education (2007).

Eitsa's research focuses on maxillofacial surgery, traumatology, oncology, oral pathology, and implantology. She has led 2 research projects at MU-Sofia, participated in national and international projects (e.g., ReFEEHS under Erasmus+), and authored/co-authored over 90 publications (11 with IF), 5 textbook chapters, and contributes to the Journal of IMAB's editorial board. She mentors specialists in oral surgery and holds administrative roles in the Faculty Council, Bulgarian Scientific Society of Dental Medicine, Bulgarian Dental Association, and European Association for Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery.
