Pier Francesco Nocini is a Full Professor at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery, University of Verona. He serves as Director of the Complex Structure and Dental Clinic at G.B. Policlinico Rossi, Verona, and as Director of the Specialization School in Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Verona. He was also President of the Italian Society of Maxillo-Facial Surgery (2015–2017).
His research focuses on oral pathology (including dental anomalies, cystic lesions, and benign/malignant oral cavity tumors) and maxillofacial malformative pathology (e.g., progenism, micrognathia, alveolar/palatal development).
He has authored 377 publications and delivered over 150 presentations at national/international congresses. His teaching spans courses in Maxillofacial Surgery, Odontostomatology, and Implantology for Medicine/Dentistry programs.
He holds offices in university governance bodies, including the Department Council (I Fascia) and Internationalization Commission.
