Eirini Papageorgopoulou is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College London, affiliated with the Department of Women & Children's Health within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. She is part of the Global Nutrition Research Group and contributes to King’s Global Health Institute. Her role involves analyzing developmental outcomes in early childhood through the BRIGHT impact study in The Gambia.
Eirini holds a PhD in Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, an MSc in Psychological Research Methods (Birkbeck), an MA in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (University of Birmingham), and a BSc in Early Childhood Education.
Her research focuses on developmental processes, exploring how social, environmental, and health factors influence developmental outcomes from infancy to preschool age. She employs longitudinal data to identify risk and resilience factors in global health contexts.
Eirini’s work aligns with King’s Global Health priorities, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to child well-being and public health challenges.
