Eirik Riis Mossefinn is a Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of General Literary Studies at the University of Oslo, affiliated with the Faculty of Humanities. His research interests focus on Anglophone literatures, literary theory (particularly realism and modernism), and the intersection of literature with economics. He holds an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Oslo (2022).
Academically, Eirik has served as Editor of Bokvennen Litterær Avis (BLA) from 2022–2024 and contributes as a literary critic for Klassekampen since 2023. His work bridges theoretical and critical analyses of 19th- and 20th-century literary movements, emphasizing Marxist and poststructuralist frameworks.
He is part of research groups Forms of Resistance and The Sense of Community, reflecting his commitment to interdisciplinary inquiry. His sole listed publication to date, co-authored with Hans Jacob Ohldieck, critiques contemporary literary and philosophical discourses through a schizoanalytic lens.
