Eilin K. Erevik is a Professor at the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her research primarily focuses on gambling disorders, personality psychology, and addiction research, with extensive work utilizing Norwegian registry data. She maintains an active research profile with numerous publications across multiple high-impact journals.
Her research interests span gambling disorders, personality psychology (particularly the Five-Factor Model and HEXACO model), social media psychology, substance abuse, mental health, and behavioral addictions. Much of her work examines the relationship between personality traits and various addictive behaviors, with a particular emphasis on gambling disorders.
