Ehsan Hamzehpoor

Dr. Ehsan Hamzehpoor is a Research Fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of British Columbia (UBC), working under Prof. Mark J. MacLachlan. His research focuses on designing self-assembling organic macromolecules and porous materials with applications in energy storage, environmental remediation, and healthcare. He holds prestigious awards, including the Banting and Killam Postdoctoral Fellowships.

His work emphasizes creating functional materials through supramolecular chemistry, such as covalent organic frameworks (COFs) and quantum dots.
