Dr. Eftihia Arkoudis is an Adjunct Lecturer in Music Business & Entrepreneurship at the University of Florida’s College of the Arts and founder of the EVA Arts Collective. She is also the Global Outreach Coordinator for the Tampere Flute Festival (2024-2026) and former Director of West Virginia University’s Community Music Program (2021-2024). Her work bridges performance, education, and arts advocacy, emphasizing community-building and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Education: DMA and MM (West Virginia University, Nina Assimakopoulos), Artistic Diplomas (Prayner Konservatorium Wien, Vienna; Athens Conservatory, Urs Rüttimann Award recipient). B.S. in Food Technology & Nutrition.
Research Interests: She explores contemporary music notation, music entrepreneurship, and inclusive pedagogy. Her doctoral research “Contemporary Music Notation for the Flute” has over 15,000 downloads. She advocates for theatrical interpretations of new works and collaborations with living composers.

Advising & Grants: Launched the Frostburg Flutes Guest Artist Series (2020-2023), hosting 16 artists globally. Funded by US Embassy grants, Friends of Flutes Foundation, and multiple scholarships. Advises K-12 to college students, including those with disabilities.
Labs/Teams: Co-founder of award-winning ensembles BETA Quartet (USA) and 3Pirouetten (Germany). Creator of the music education board game “Grateful”, blending theory with mindfulness.
