Efren Delgadillo Jr.

Efren Delgadillo Jr. is an Associate Professor of Scene Design and Head of Scenic Design at the University of California, Irvine's Department of Drama within the Claire Trevor School of the Arts. He holds an MFA in Scenic Design from California Institute of the Arts and a BFA in Studio Arts from UC Irvine.

His career spans prestigious institutions including The Getty Villa, Denver Center for the Performing Arts, and South Coast Repertory. Notable works include American Mariachi, Mojada: A Medea in Los Angeles, and Prometheus Bound. He is a co-founder of SINTROCA theatre collective and a member of Poor Dog Group, known for interdisciplinary performances.
