Efrain Rodriguez is an Associate Professor of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Maryland (UMD). His research focuses on functional inorganic materials, including their synthesis, characterization, and applications in energy and quantum technologies. Key areas include hydrothermal/solvothermal synthesis of non-centrosymmetric quantum materials, oxygen storage materials for energy, and 2D magnetism studied via neutron and X-ray diffraction.
