Edward Tabri is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Texas at Tyler, where he has taught since 2001. He specializes in Medieval and Early Modern European history, with a focus on political culture, Renaissance studies, and Mediterranean civilizations. His research has been supported by a Fulbright Fellowship, enabling archival work in Belgium and Western Europe.

Research Interests: Dr. Tabri’s work examines the intersection of humanism and statecraft in early modern Europe, with particular attention to the Burgundian Court and the intellectual foundations of governance. His current book project, Ruling the Renaissance: Humanism and Statecraft in the Age of Machiavelli and Erasmus, explores these themes further.
