Edward Greenspon serves as a Distinguished Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, University of Toronto, and holds the position of President and CEO at the Public Policy Forum, a national applied policy think tank. With over 30 years of experience bridging journalism and public policy, he has spearheaded critical research initiatives addressing the news industry's challenges, online hate and disinformation, economic competitiveness determinants, future of work inclusion, and climate-energy policy integration.
His academic foundation includes:
- Combined honours degree in journalism and political science from Carleton University
- Master’s degree from the London School of Economics as a Commonwealth scholar
Greenspon’s research spans policy implementation, democratic institutions, and media ecosystems, with concentrated expertise in Canadian governance structures. His work emphasizes practical policy translation through evidence-based frameworks, particularly examining how political narratives shape economic and social outcomes.
