Edward Early is a Professor of Mathematics and Associate Dean of Natural Sciences at St. Edward's University. He holds a Ph.D. and S.B. in Mathematics from MIT. His research focuses on combinatorics, particularly partially ordered sets (posets) and integer partitions, with extensive contributions to undergraduate research mentoring. He is a key figure in mathematics competitions, serving as head coach of the Texas ARML team, former MATHCOUNTS National Judge, and co-founder of the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament.
