Edward's research centers on behavioural economics, game theory, and public economics, with a strong focus on cooperation, social norms, framing, and leadership in group settings. He also explores critical contemporary issues such as cyber-security and discrimination. His teaching expertise includes microeconomics, public economics, and experimental methods, with a passion for interactive classroom experiments.
The 15 most recent publications reveal a consistent trajectory in experimental and behavioral economics, particularly in public good games, trust, guilt aversion, and the application of game theory to cybercrime (e.g., ransomware). There is a clear evolution from theoretical models to real-world applications, especially in digital security and public policy.
