Edward Adams is Professor of New Testament Studies at King's College London, where he has taught since 1996. His research examines the social formation of early Christianity, focusing on Paul's letters, Gospel narratives, and early Christian meeting places. He holds a BD from the University of London and a PhD from the University of Glasgow.
Key interests include the historical context of early Christian communities, the origins of church architecture, and the literary reception of New Testament texts. His work combines historical criticism with architectural history to reconstruct early Christian practices.
