Eduard Suari Andreu is an Assistant Professor at Leiden University's Department of Economics. His research focuses on applied microeconomics, emphasizing household finance, health, labour markets, and migration. He coordinates the TransEuroWorkS Horizon Europe project, addressing impacts of digital/green transitions and labour market internationalization. He holds a PhD from the University of Groningen (2018) and was a postdoc at Leiden University before his current role.
He is affiliated with institutions including NETSPAR, the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus GMD Centre, and the University of York's HEDG. His recent work explores wealth transfers linked to health shocks, fiscal impacts of migration, and time-use patterns during unemployment. He advises PhD students like Giacomo Boffi and collaborates on EU-funded surveys analyzing European citizens' perceptions of socio-economic transitions.
