Edmund Runggaldier

Edmund Runggaldier is a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, holding positions since 1985 and reconfirmed in 2009. He specializes in Analytic Ontology and Theology, with notable roles as Dean of the Faculty of Theology (1993–1995) and Head of the Department of Christian Philosophy (1994–1996). His career includes visiting professorships at institutions like the Pontificia Università Gregoriana in Rome, Università Cattolica di Milano, and the Humboldt-Universität in Berlin (2007–2009).

Education includes a Bachelor in Philosophy (1970, Pullach), Master in Theology (1973, University of Innsbruck), and a D.Phil. Ox. (1977, Oxford University under A.J. Ayer). He completed Habilitation in Philosophy (1983, Innsbruck).
