Edith Myers is an Associate Professor of Biology in the Department of Biological Sciences at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her research focuses on understanding the molecular basis of behavior using the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans), leveraging its simple nervous system and advanced genetic tools to investigate how environmental agents and toxins affect neuronal function and morphology. She actively mentors undergraduate Biology majors, including students working on University Honors thesis projects, and her work has been presented at international meetings and published in scientific journals.
- Education: BA in Biology from the University of Delaware, PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, and postdoctoral training at Yale University School of Medicine.
