Edgar Rodríguez-Huerta serves as a Senior Research Fellow in Social Sustainability and Complex Systems at the Rights Lab, University of Nottingham, where he contributes to the Measurement and Geographies Programme. His research examines critical intersections between socio-ecological systems, climate change, and modern slavery within global supply chains.
Holding a PhD in Sustainability Science, he leverages data science and Business Intelligence expertise through methodologies including Social Life Cycle Assessment, climate modelling, societal metabolism, and complex network analysis. His work specifically investigates human dimensions in food, solar panel, and brick kiln supply chains to identify vulnerabilities and ethical risks.
