Ed Jones is a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University, affiliated with the Leeds Law School and the Business School. He holds masters degrees in Education, Law, Business, and Management, and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Leeds focusing on political speech in the workplace. Prior to academia, he practiced as a solicitor specializing in employment law at an international law firm in Leeds.

Research Interests: Explores the intersection of political expression and workplace dynamics, including legal frameworks governing employee speech, labor rights, and organizational policies. His work bridges employment law, organizational behavior, and constitutional law principles.
Teaching & Supervision: Leads modules in Advanced Employment Law, Legal Practice Course components (Wills, Interviewing), and HR Management programs. Supervises the Law Clinic's employment practice and undergraduate dissertations. Active in legal pedagogy and professional skills training.
