Ebenezer O. Aka

Dr. Ebenezer O. Aka is a Professor of Urban Studies and Planning at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He has held leadership roles as Director of the Urban Studies Program and Interim Chair of the Department of Political Science, overseeing the International Studies and Urban Studies Programs.

• Education: BCRP and MA in Geography and Urban Planning from the University of Louisiana, MCRP from Rutgers, and Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University.

His research focuses on housing and community development, comparative urbanization, environmental sustainability, and GIS applications in planning. He has authored two books and published articles in journals like Human Ecology Review and Cities: The International Journal of Urban Policy and Planning.

Dr. Aka serves on editorial boards, including the International Journal of Environmental, Cultural, Economic and Social Sustainability, and is affiliated with the Morehouse Research Institute (MRI) and other sustainability groups.
