Prof. E.J.M.M. (Jos) Arts is a Professor of Environmental and Infrastructure Planning at the Faculty of Spatial Sciences, University of Groningen. His expertise spans infrastructure and environmental planning, environmental impact assessment, and ex post evaluation. He holds additional roles as an Extraordinary Professor at Northwest University (South Africa) and serves on multiple national/international boards such as the Netherlands’ Commission on Environmental Impact Assessment and the Estonian Environment Institute’s Scientific Council.
