E. Michael Harrington

Dr. E. Michael Harrington is a Professor of Music Business and Music for Film, TV, and Games at Berklee College of Music. He specializes in music copyright and intellectual property law, lecturing at institutions such as Harvard Law, George Washington University Law, and numerous music conferences across North America. His expertise is evidenced by his role as a consultant and expert witness in high-profile music copyright cases, including efforts to restore public domain status to works like 'We Shall Overcome.' He has collaborated with notable figures such as Steven Spielberg, the Chicks, Lady Gaga, and Samsung.

Dr. Harrington sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Popular Culture, the advisory board of the Future of Music Coalition, and the Creators Freedom Project.
