Dániel Cseh

Dániel Cseh is an active Lecturer and Head of the MA Programme in Media Design at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME). His work intersects media technology, new media art, and media archaeology, focusing on experimental image creation and prototyping technologies for installations.

• Education: MA in Media Design from MOME (2016), currently pursuing a PhD in the Doctoral School at MOME.

Research interests include media archaeology, alternative media technologies, and the epistemological implications of technological systems. His artistic practice, such as the 2022 exhibition 'Apparatus' and works like VCCTV and Ideometry, explores themes of cognition, surveillance, and human-machine relationships through kinetic installations and media deconstruction.

His 2022 publication in Műút exemplifies his focus on media archaeology, blending technical analysis with philosophical inquiry about perception and technological obsolescence. Recent collaborations, like the 'Parallel Channels' exhibition with Attila Pálfalusi, highlight his engagement with post-truth discourse and self-reflexive systems.
