Dylan Fisher is a Lecturer in Fiction at Emory University. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a PhD in Creative Writing from Georgia State University. His work focuses on experimental narrative forms, existential themes, and literary fiction.
He is the author of The Loneliest Band in France: A Novella, which has garnered significant acclaim, including the Colorado Book Award in Literary Fiction (2021), the Clay Reynolds Novella Prize (2019), and a Coups de Cœur from The American Library in Paris (2020). The novella blends surrealism, dark humor, and introspective prose to explore themes of familial bonds, cultural dislocation, and existential crises.
