Dwayne Towell

Dwayne Towell is an Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Lipscomb University, specializing in nuclear physics instrumentation and computer science education. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Abilene Christian University (1986), an M.S. in Software Engineering (2004), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (2007) from Texas Tech University.

His research focuses on precision fission cross-section measurements using time projection chambers (TPCs) and educational tools for introductory programming courses. Towell co-founded Docket Navigator, developing legal software tools, and holds patents in business software processes.
