Dr. Duy Dat Vu is an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal's Faculty of Dental Medicine, Department of Oral Health, and serves as Director of the Master of Dental Medicine Program (Pediatric Dentistry Option) since 2012. He holds a Fellowship from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and has expertise in pediatric dentistry, healthcare access, and mother-child dental health. His professional roles include Director of Pediatric Surgical Services at Montreal Children's Hospital (2008–2012) and Examiner in pediatric dentistry for the Royal College of Dentists of Canada since 2005. He has actively contributed to academic leadership, including presiding over the Association of Pediatric Dentists of Quebec (2004–2015).
