Dustin M. Hoffman is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing in the English Department at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. He teaches within the university's renowned creative writing program, bringing his unique perspective as a former house painter to his academic work.
