His research bridges algebraic K-theory, number theory, and homotopy theory, with a focus on developing condensed mathematics to unify algebra and topology in analytic geometry.
- Harvard University (undergraduate), MIT PhD (2013) under Jacob Lurie
- Postdoc in Copenhagen (2013-2018), then at University of Bonn and Max Planck Institute for Mathematics (2018-2020)
- Associate Professor at University of Copenhagen (2020-2023)
His honors include NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (2008), David Mumford Award (2008), Hoopes Award (2008), and Hartmann Foundation Graduate Award (2022). He leads the Simons Collaboration on Perfection in Algebra, Geometry, and Topology.
