Professor Duncan MacLeod (FRSA) is an award-winning composer, sound artist, and interdisciplinary researcher at The Glasgow School of Art. His work bridges concert music, sound installations, and participatory arts, focusing on human relationships with land and ecosystems in the Anthropocene.

Research explores folklore, sociopolitical themes, and placemaking, particularly through interactive soundwalks in Uist developed with Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum & Arts Centre. Key areas include sound studies, environmental humanities, immersive media, and cultural heritage.
