Professor Dudley Pennell is a Professor of Cardiology at the National Heart & Lung Institute, part of Imperial College London's Faculty of Medicine. He directs the Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR) Unit at Royal Brompton Hospital and leads the British Heart Foundation Centre for Advanced Magnetic Resonance in Cardiology (CAMRIC). As an NIHR Senior Investigator Emeritus and Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences, his work focuses on CMR applications in cardiomyopathy, myocardial iron measurement, and early atherosclerosis detection.
