Duda Dan Gabriel

Dan Gabriel Duda is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School (HMS) and Principal Investigator at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Research Institute. He holds leadership roles as Director of Translational Research in GI Radiation Oncology at MGH and Secretary General of the International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists (IASGO). His research focuses on tumor microenvironment interactions, particularly in liver cancers, aiming to develop combination therapies involving immunotherapy and radiotherapy. Duda has authored over 280 publications with an h-index of 74 and is recognized as a top 2% scientist globally. He earned a DMD from the University of Medicine Iasi (1993) and a PhD from Tohoku University (2001), followed by postdoctoral training at MGH/HMS.
