Dragos Gruia

Dragos Gruia is a Research Fellow at the University of Trento's Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, joining in June 2024 under Prof. Fausto Giunchiglia's supervision. He holds a PhD in Digital Health and Clinical Neurology from Imperial College London.

His research focuses on developing digital health platforms enabling remote diagnosis and monitoring of neurological disorders, integrating digital health data with blood biomarkers and brain imaging for multimodal analysis of patient recovery trajectories. At Trento, he specializes in enhancing data quality from digital health platforms using machine learning techniques like real-time Bayesian optimization and skeptical learning.
