Dragomir Glisic

Dragomir Glisic is an Associate Professor at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade. His research focuses on metallurgy, materials science, and fracture mechanics, with specific expertise in material characterization, welding technology, and microalloyed steels. He actively supervises graduate and undergraduate research in these areas.

Research Interests: Glisic investigates mechanical behavior of metallic materials, fracture analysis, thermomechanical processing of steels, and materials selection principles. His work emphasizes quantitative metallography, finite element analysis in fracture prediction, and characterization of welded joints in aluminum alloys.

Student Advising: He has supervised 5 doctoral/master's students and 7 undergraduate researchers. Recent projects include microstructure modeling of microalloyed steels, friction stir welding of aluminum alloys, and failure analysis of industrial components.
