معرفی
Professor Nenad Radović is a Full Professor at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering, Technical Faculty of Mining and Metallurgy (TMF), University of Belgrade. He was elected to his current position on January 18, 2017.
His research interests span across multiple areas of metallurgy including:
- Welding Metallurgy
- Physical Metallurgy
- Phase Transformations in Metallic Materials
- Physics of Fracture
- Heat Treatment of Metals and Alloys
- Structure of Metallic Materials
Professor Radović's recent publications focus on welding technologies, particularly examining Al/Cu bimetallic joints, their microstructure, and mechanical properties. His work demonstrates strong expertise in analyzing the effects of various welding parameters and post-weld treatments on material properties.
His scientific contributions include:
- The influence of the initial length of Cu rods on the structure and micro-hardness of friction welded and pressed Al/Cu bimetallic joints (2018)
- Long-term and low-temperature annealing of as-continuous drive friction welded and post-weld heat treated Al/Cu bimetal joints (2017)
Professor Radović has mentored numerous students at all academic levels, guiding doctoral, master's, and undergraduate theses focused on metallurgical engineering topics. His teaching responsibilities include courses on Kinetics of Phase Transformations, Physical Metallurgy, Welding Metallurgy, and Heat Treatment of Metals.
