Prof. Dr. Doğan DEMİRCİ is a faculty member at Süleyman Demirel University's Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Art History. He holds a Ph.D. in Islamic History and Arts from the same university (2009), following earlier degrees from Selçuk University (B.A., 1984) and Suleyman Demirel (M.A., 2006). His research focuses on Turkish civil architecture, water structures, and Anatolian Seljuk/Ottoman architectural heritage. Notable works include studies on mosques, baths, and residential buildings in Isparta and Antalya. He has supervised six theses, co-authored books on regional architectural history, and participated in international archaeological excavations. His publications span peer-reviewed journals and conferences, emphasizing architectural preservation and historical contextualization.
