Dr. Doyle Srader is Professor of Speech & Communication in the School of Arts and Sciences at Bushnell University, where he has taught since 2007. His instructional expertise covers public speaking, interpersonal communication, listening behavior, and argumentation, building on over 25 years of teaching experience.
Research focuses on argumentation theory, performative listening, political rhetoric, and communication pedagogy. His publications examine crisis communication, historical framing in legal contexts, and innovative teaching methodologies.
Honors include multiple Professor of the Year awards (2008, 2015), Presidential Awards for teaching excellence (2009, 2019), ECHO Listening Practitioner certification (2019), and a Fulbright grant (2022-23) to teach interpersonal communication in Japan addressing social isolation and argumentation.
